Student for a day
Brief description: The Laboratory of Health and Road Safety (LaHeRS) presented the REHABIL-AID project to students of all high schools of Heraklion.

Road safety promotion and trauma management in schools
Brief description: The Laboratory of Health and Road Safety has introduced REHABIL-AID and aspects of post-traumatic care in all the road safety initiatives/campaigns targeting students. It uses experiential methods to help students deal with dilemmas and introduces them into trauma management. LaHeRS has also introduced new initiatives by involving parents and teachers in co-designing lessons and training materials addressing trauma management and post-traumatic care aspects. Furthermore, the driving simulator owned by LaHeRS is currently introduced in health care planning in addressing post-traumatic stress elements along with usual therapy.
