Timo Lajunen

Timo Lajunen is the director of Traffic Research Centre of Finland Ltd (est. 2008) and also an associate professor of psychology at the University of Helsinki, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Trondheim, Norway and at the Middle East Technical University in Ankara, Turkey. Dr Lajunen is a co-editor of Transportation Research, Part F: Traffic Psychology and Behaviour. Dr Lajunen is an author of over 80 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters mostly in the field of traffic and transportation, but also in personality psychology and public health. His research has been funded by the FP6 and FP7 Framework Programmes of the European Union, European Science Foundation, the Scientific & Technological Research Council of Turkey and the Turkish Academy of Sciences.
