The course is addressed to people who wish to learn how to treat road traffic crashes victims before paramedic’s crew intervention.
INTRODUCTION
Primary and secondary prevention is of vital and decisive importance in the limitation of road traffic incidences, especially in Greece which holds the 9th place worldwide regarding the number of RTCs casualties. Pre-hospital planning which includes the assessment and the treatment of injured, improves effectively the progress of the victim.

AIM
The clinical workshop aims at informing participants on road safety and educating them on assessment and treatment of RTCs victims.
METHODOLOGY
A lecture on prevention will be preceded. Transnational scenarios will offer participants the opportunity to attend primary assessment and treatment of RTCs victims before the specialised care takes place from the rescue team.
